Qaruh Island Natural Reserve

A marine reserve with an area of 75 square kilometers, under the ownership and supervision of the Environment Public Authority, located in the southern part of Kuwaiti territorial waters. The island is distinguished by its coral reefs and soil on which salt plants grow and is visited by types of birds, the most important of which are terns that breed on it.
