The launching ceremony of the first state of the environment report for the State of Kuwait, in cooperation with the United Nations Environment Programme, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Oil and Eng. Samira Al-Kandari, Acting Director General of the Environment Public Authority, and in the presence of researchers and specialists from the University of Kuwait, the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, and all relevant state agencies.
The report was prepared according to a methodology approved by the United Nations Environment Program and prepared by specialized researchers from the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research and Kuwait University, with the participation of 27 governmental and non-governmental parties.
