The #Environment_General_Authority, in cooperation with the Gulf Oil Company and the Ministry of Interior, is participating in an extensive open campaign to protect Umm Qadir in Al-Ahmadi Governorate.
Targeted a no-drinking ban on the natural environment due to minor law violations.
Construction objectives:
It aimed to monitor compliance with Article 105 of the Environment Law, which prohibits the transfer of non-native plants to nature reserves, and prohibits carrying out any actions that may harm the ecosystem. The main prohibitions include:
1. Catching fish and marine organisms: Preventing the catching of fish, data and shellfish within the reserve.
2. Destroying or collecting shells and corals: Prohibiting the collection or destruction of marine animals in any way.
3. Animal size and wild animal hunting: Preventing the text, hunting, changing or affecting the wild.
4. Shepherd: Prohibiting the grazing of sheep and livestock inside the reserve.
5. Wild Destructive Plants: Prevent uprooting or uprooting wild destructive plants and good compost.
6. Vehicle movement outside the paved vehicle: different from the movement of cars and vehicles outside designated roads.
7. Ships and boats in tidal and pelagic areas: regulating the movement of ships and amphibious vehicles.
8. Aircraft take-off and landing: A simple flight ban over the reserve.
9. Construction work: Preventing construction, constructing floats, or carrying out reclamation operations.
10. Camping: Prohibiting camping or recreational activities.
11. Damaging the reserve fence: Preventing the sabotage of the reserve fence.
12. Mineral prospecting: Prohibiting prospecting or abolishing legal professions.
13. Separation of polluted materials: Separation of polluted or hazardous materials within reserves.
Results of the invasion:
The necessary legal measures were taken against violators and the absence of these weapons through the process of monitoring and recording three crimes.
With the exception of areas of importance to this community in protecting the environment, it called for cooperation while adhering to environmental laws, the sustainability of natural resources, and the preservation of reserves.
