The Public Environment Authority, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and the Public Authority for Industry, carried out an inspection campaign on some sites used for storing tires in Al-Naeem scrap. The campaign resulted in issuing four violations to these sites due to their failure to comply with the engineering and environmental requirements stipulated in Article 18 of the Environmental Protection Law No. 42 of 2014 and its amendments. The concerned authorities also took the necessary measures in accordance with their jurisdictions. The Authority calls on the owners of plots and sites to adhere to the law to avoid violations.
