In conjunction with #World_Oceans_Day and under the theme “Strong Marine Protected Areas for Our Blue Planet,”

The Environment Public Authority launched a workshop for the National Program for Monitoring and Removal of Marine Debris, in collaboration with more than 20 entities from both the public and private sectors, as well as volunteer diving teams, with support from Kuwait Oil Company.

The program aims to monitor and remove marine debris through a unified national methodology, contributing to the protection of the marine environment, promoting sustainability, and preserving our natural resources for future generations.
