Her Excellency the Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Affairs, Dr. Reem Ghazi Al-Fulaij, received His Excellency Mr. Yerzan Yelekeyev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Kuwait. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of food security, recognizing it as one of the key pillars of sustainable development.

The meeting reviewed opportunities to enhance partnership and exchange expertise and successful experiences to support food systems and strengthen their sustainability. The discussions also covered cooperation in agricultural production and food supply chains to help ensure the stability and availability of food.

The meeting further addressed a number of issues of mutual interest related to strengthening food security, in support of the national efforts of both countries and their long-term development and food sustainability goals.
