Her Excellency Dr. Reem Ghazi Al-Fulaij, Minister of State for Sustainable Development Affairs, received His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan to the State of Kuwait, Mr. Mukai Kenichiro. During the meeting, the two sides discussed avenues of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of sustainability and food security, and explored opportunities to strengthen partnership and exchange expertise in support of efforts to achieve environmental sustainability.

The meeting also addressed ways to enhance cooperation in areas related to agricultural production and food supply chains, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest in the environmental field, contributing to the development goals of the two friendly countries.
