The Environment Public Authority participated in the introductory seminar titled “Sustainable Conservation,” organized by Al Ahmadi Governorate in cooperation with Kuwait Oil Company, under the patronage and in the presence of the Governor of Al Ahmadi, His Excellency Sheikh Hamoud Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

The seminar highlighted the importance of promoting the concept of sustainability and transforming it into a comprehensive practical approach within institutional work, contributing to more efficient resource utilization, improved performance, and enhanced environmental and social responsibility and governance.

The Acting Director General of the Environment Public Authority, Ms. Nouf Behbehani, also highlighted the importance of sustainability reporting, the quality of environmental data, and impact measurement in supporting decision-making. She emphasized the importance of national partnerships and knowledge exchange in developing sustainable practices and achieving tangible results.
