Dr. Reem Al-Fulaij, Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Affairs, participated in

the 28th meeting of the Committee of Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in Manama, Bahrain.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Dr. Al-Fulaij emphasized that the State of Kuwait places special priority on enhancing Gulf cooperation in the environmental sector, noting that protecting the environment and preserving natural resources constitute a shared, integrated responsibility and a pivotal pillar for achieving sustainable development in the region.
