Transferring Amgarah scrap
Amghara scrap is located within the Amghara industrial craft area, and it is one of the old scrap sites in the country, which includes shops that sell old and used spare parts for cars, and the presence of the scrap caused various environmental problems such as the emission of odors, toxic gases and materials exposed to rust and corrosion, which caused the leakage of chemicals such as Lead and oils are on the site, and storage methods rudimentary and improper, Which causes the possibility of accidents such as fires and others, and with the urban and housing development, a residential project site has been allocated close to the Scrap site, which is the Saad Al-Abdullah Housing city Project and also the project imported to the public authority for environment and studying the site according to the request of official authorities from Kuwait municipality and the general institution for caring resident and public authority for industry with a necessary transferring the scrap site to alternative site which contains all the environmental conditions So that to be far from civilian areas, and the condition of transporting scrap was included within the environmental approval of the project, and coordination was also made with the Kuwait Municipality and the allocation of a new scrap site in Al-Naeem area to be a substitute for the site located in its area, and accordingly, the removals committee on 16/4/2014, And based on the decision of the Council of Ministers, and commissioned the Public Authority for Industry to remove car scrapes in Amghara area in coordination with the Kuwait Municipality and the Ministry of Interior to obligate the scrap investors to move to the new scrap, whereas many the investors of the scrap shops to transfer their goods, facilities and tools to the new scrap in the Al-Naeem area urgently, and currently there are drawings to transfer the scrap site in amghara to gardens and green flats.
