A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Her Excellency Sheikha Amthal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, member of the Supreme Council for the Environment, at Seif Palace, in the presence of the experienced and qualified members of the Coordinating Committee of the Supreme Council for the Environment.

Where the environmental considerations and requirements of the Jahra Corniche waterfront development project and the Sulaibikhat Bay development project were discussed in the presence of representatives from the Kuwait Municipality and the Environment Public Authority.

It was emphasized that Kuwait Bay would not bear any environmental burdens due to the fragility of the region and that no project would require drilling or burial on the beaches of Kuwait Bay.
