The Supreme Committee for Climate held its second meeting of 2026, chaired by H.E. Dr. Reem Ghazi Al-Fulaij, Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Affairs, with the participation of representatives from the relevant entities.

The Committee reviewed the decision issued on 11 June 2026 amending the composition of the Supreme Committee for Climate, which included the addition of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development as new members of the Committee.
