The Environment Public Authority (EPA) delivered specialized scientific lectures on biodiversity conservation at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR).
As part of its efforts to strengthen scientific collaboration and promote environmental awareness, the Environment Public Authority, represented by the Biodiversity Conservation Department, delivered a series of specialized scientific lectures at the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research. The lectures highlighted the importance of biodiversity, Kuwait’s efforts to conserve species and natural habitats, and the role of protected areas and international environmental agreements in achieving environmental sustainability.
The lectures witnessed active engagement from participants, with discussions focusing on key environmental challenges, the importance of scientific research, and the role of institutional collaboration in supporting biodiversity conservation efforts.
These lectures form part of the Environment Public Authority’s ongoing initiatives to enhance environmental awareness, build national capacities, and strengthen partnerships with academic and research institutions in support of environmental protection and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
