Today, the Environment Public Authority (EPA) paid a visit to the Kuwait Public Transport Company, headed by the Acting Director General of the Environment Public Authority, Ms. Nouf Behbehani. The delegation was received by the CEO of the Kuwait Public Transport Company, Eng. Mansour Al-Saad.

The visit aimed to learn about the company’s latest public transportation projects. The delegation was introduced to the new electric-powered buses, their operating mechanisms, key features, and their role in supporting environmentally friendly transportation.

The EPA delegation also reviewed the company’s operations and efforts to develop the public transportation system, as well as its role in encouraging the use of public transport, contributing to reducing traffic congestion and emissions and improving air quality.

The visit highlighted the importance of cooperation between environmental and transportation authorities and supporting the shift toward sustainable transportation solutions that contribute to achieving Kuwait’s environmental and development goals.
